Arrow ECS Extends Collaboration with AWS
Infrastructure VAD Arrow ECS has extended its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) by significantly increasing AWS Certifications and introducing a related training program.
Arrow has integrated AWS into its ArrowSphere cloud platform in 19 European countries, and now has certifications across all major program categories, including architect, operations, developer and speciality such as security.
Global technology provider Arrow Electronics has passed the 100 AWS Certifications mark through the AWS Partner Network (APN). AWS Certifications validate expertise in cloud computing to help customers identify APN Partners with deep industry experience and expertise.
The achievement builds on the existing relationship that sees Arrow distribute the full catalogue of AWS services in Europe via ArrowSphere.
Arrow's channel clients and their end customers have access to AWS in combination with Arrow's value-added services. They have access to the full software portfolio to support bring your own licence, local pre-sales, business development and APN support, improved payment options, billing management, and specialist training, such as the Arrow Cloud Belts training program, which was developed to help channel customers build the skills needed to achieve AWS Certifications.
Channel customers progress through seven levels of Arrow Cloud Belts, from white to black belt, covering the fundamentals to the highest level of automation in the cloud.
“Arrow continues to make significant investments in our team’s AWS capabilities. Achieving the AWS 100 Certification mark is a big milestone and validates the hard work and effort of our team”, said Alexis Brabant, vice president of sales of Arrow ECS in EMEA. “As a leading value-add distributor in the cloud channel, we are committed to helping customers develop new capabilities, build their cloud practice and optimise their AWS experience.”
ArrowSphere, the multi-tier cloud management platform, is engineered to simplify the connection between cloud service providers, channel clients and end-customers. The platform enables the channel by providing a single platform to purchase and manage cloud products and services (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS), monitor activity and consumption with embedded business intelligence tools, sell own services with a customisable storefront, and simplify the billing process.
