Updated: Mar 29
Software VAD Softprom by ERC and Rhebo, a provider of monitoring solutions for automated industrial networks, have signed a partnership agreement.
Softprom by ERC will support Rhebo in distribution in Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS region, opening the door to the East for the German player. The Leipzig-based company will gain access to Softprom by ERC's distribution network in the markets of Austria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
"Rhebos mission is to ensure both cyber security and operational stability of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and industrial IoT infrastructure in industrial, energy and water companies. Rhebo's flagship solution Industrial Protector monitors and analyses all communication in the entire ICS at content level using Deep Packet Inspection technology. The integrated anomaly detection identifies and reports deviations that could be caused by cyber attacks, malfunctions, software errors or technical faults in real-time", explains Pavlo Zhdanovych, managing director of Softprom by ERC. "The solution guarantees an up-to-date inventory of all assets, connections and properties. The ICS monitoring works without affecting the infrastructure or industrial processes. In recent years, Rhebo has secured and tested a large number of ICS, especially in the German energy sector and other industrially critical infrastructure."
