Swiss retail specialist PowerData has unveiled an exclusive distribution partnership with Autel Robotics, a specialist in the field of UAVs and aerial photography devices.

Autel Robotics offers a range of UAVs with ultra-sophisticated cameras, whose technical characteristics make them the reference product in this category. The brand wished to make its mark by launching the world's first 8K folding UAV.

"Over the last 6 years, we have acquired a real know-how on the marketing of leisure and professional UAVs, in particular because we have taken charge of the launch of the current market leader in consumer UAVs. We are proud today to be Autel Robotics' partner and to support the release of its new EVO II range, which integrates cutting-edge technological innovations", said Dan Mamane, CEO of PowerData.

This new range consists of 3 UAVs: the EVO II Standard, the EVO II Pro and the EVO II Dual. Their 7100 mAh rechargeable battery offers 40 minutes autonomy in flight and also uses a new patented system, called "Battlock", which protects the battery during high-speed manoeuvres or difficult landings. They are all equipped with 12 computer vision sensors controlled by a dual-core processor and adaptive artificial intelligence that will create omnidirectional protection for the UAV. Their range is 9km and their speed reaches 15 m/s in standard mode and 20 m/s in "Ludicruous" mode.

The EVO II (RRP 1489€ incl. VAT) has an 8K, 48MP camera with a 1/2" CMOS sensor. It captures content with a resolution of up to 8000 x 6000 pixels for photos, allowing a 100-inch wide image to be printed. Video capture reaches a maximum resolution of 7720 x 4320 pixels. The UAV also has a lossless zoom of up to 4x.

The EVO II Pro (RRP 1779€ incl. VAT) is distinguished by its 6K camera, making it the world's first 6K folding UAV. It features a 20MP camera with a 1" CMOS sensor, adjustable aperture (from f/2.8 to f/11), HDR, an ISO range from 100 to 12,800 and the ability to capture 6K video.

The EVO II Dual (available only on request), designed for professional users, is equipped with a Boson FLIR sensor with a thermal resolution of up to 640 x 512 pixels and the same 8K camera as the standard EVO II model.
