British multispecialist CMS Distribution has expanded its product and brand portfolio by partnering with Rotolight, the award-winning LED lighting manufacturer based in the UK.
The strategic partnership has enabled CMS to offer a professional line of lighting solutions to its enterprise and consumer reseller base, whilst enabling Rotolight to grow their British, family-owned business across the UK & Ireland by gaining access to CMS’ large customer portfolio.
Founded in 2009, Rotolight designs and manufactures innovative LED lighting products for the motion picture and photographic industries. Their equipment has been used on several major motion picture productions including James Bond’s; Sky Fall, Star Trek Beyond and Wash Me in the River, featuring Robert DeNiro.
In the past 24 months, Rotolight has won over 15 major international awards for its product line including the Rotolight NEO 3 picking up 'Lighting Product of the Year' at the Amateur Photographer Awards and 'Best On-Camera Flash' from the Photography News Awards 2022. The brand has also been commended by the British Television Society for ‘contributing towards the advancement of the industry’.
