Comil and Enghouse Interactive Sign a Distribution Partnership for Vidyo Videoconferencing Solutions

French AV VAD Comil and Enghouse Interactive have signed a distribution agreement enabling Comil to offer Vidyo videoconferencing solutions to meet the growing use of video for corporate collaboration.
The need for remote communication has never been stronger than in recent months. Video as a means of communication has established itself on a long-term basis in both our private and professional uses. According to a study carried out by Enghouse Interactive France last June, 75% of French people now use video for personal or professional purposes, compared to 60% before the pandemic.
In the context of social distancing and teleworking, videoconferencing has emerged as the essential tool for professional collaboration to carry out projects, manage dispersed teams, train employees or maintain links with customers and suppliers. Its many benefits are well established: improved team productivity, reduced travel costs, time savings and a reduced carbon footprint.
For these promises to be fulfilled, a videoconferencing solution must meet the following requirements: ease of use, image quality, conversation security and ease of installation. Because VidyoConnect perfectly meets these criteria, particularly by offering all the guarantees in terms of security, Comil wanted to enrich its videoconferencing offer for companies. Having proven its robustness through large-scale deployments with international customers, VidyoConnect can be installed on site or in the cloud. The solution is available in the Comil catalogue and is integrated into several Visio packs designed according to the number of participants in the room. A Vidyo HD2 Room Visio pack is also available which includes the appropriate software and hardware for up to a dozen participants.
"Vidyo solutions are among the most advanced and mature on the market. As experts in videoconferencing, we particularly appreciate the ease of integration of these solutions to carry out complex and customised projects for our clients", observes Patrice Bernard, President and Founder of Comil.
"We are very pleased to entrust the distribution of our Vidyo solutions to an audiovisual expert recognised by our resellers and customers. The complementarity between Vidyo and the solutions already distributed by Comil will benefit companies that want to equip themselves with a high-performance, high-quality videoconferencing solution", concludes Olivier Njamfa, CEO of Enghouse Interactive France.
