Cybereason, a leader in endpoint protection, has signed a distribution agreement with security VAD Infinigate to expand its business in the DACH Region (Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland).

"Cybereason has rapidly expanded in Germany, Austria and Switzerland due to the demand for our products and services. Among other things, we have already significantly increased the sales team in the region, as modern cyber defence solutions in particular are becoming more and more popular with medium-sized companies”, according to Frank Köelmel, Vice President Central Europe, Cybereason.

"We are pleased to add Cybereason to our portfolio as a leader in the rapidly growing enterprise detection and response market. We were particularly impressed by the high degree of automation and the ability to operate the solution in a wide range of variants and on all platforms. Cybereason detects the individual components of an attack, automatically combines them with other information and thus simplifies the detection and remediation of a threat enormously", explains Robert Scicolone, Managing Director of Infinigate Deutschland GmbH. "Our decision is based not least on the innovative strength of Cybereason. The endpoint detection platform detects the most advanced cyber attacks on any IoT device in addition to traditional hardware – aligned to its mission 'protect it all‘.

Cybereason offers an integrated, highly automated security platform that monitors all endpoints on-premises and in the cloud.

This year, Cybereason has received several third-party validations for the Cybereason Defense Platform. The company has the top-ranked current offering in the published “The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Detection & Response, Q1 2020.” NSS Labs, Inc. recognised Cybereason as the highest rated endpoint platform on the market in Advanced Endpoint Protection Q2 2020 Comparative Report. And in the completed MITRE ATT&CK product evaluations, Cybereason successfully defended against techniques frequently used by cybercrime group APT29.

"According to the trend that cyber attacks have increased in number and creativity to such an extent that they are now perceived worldwide as the second greatest threat to businesses, we are focusing on building and expanding the partner ecosystem, training them to become cyber security experts and, of course, on further increasing the brand awareness of Cybereason. Infinigate has outstanding expertise in selling innovative and explanation-intensive cybersecurity solutions as well as in projects with resellers, IT integrators and system houses at the end customer. This was an important decision criterion for us and we are very pleased to work the market hand-in-hand with the Infinigate team in the future“, added Kölmel.
