Datto, the world's leading provider of cloud-based software and security solutions designed specifically for the services of managed service providers (MSPs), is taking the next step in its growth strategy for the DACH region: with a new partnership with leading VAD Infinigate and investments in its DACH team and partner experience, the company is focusing even more strongly on the needs of the MSP community in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

When Datto first started direct sales of its solutions in the DACH region five years ago, the market for managed services in Germany, Austria and Switzerland was still in its infancy and migration to the cloud was still a pipe dream for most small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Since then, the market has changed fundamentally and developed at a rapid pace: Managed services are the success model of IT service providers, the cloud has become an indispensable part of everyday business life and new forms of work have significantly accelerated digitalisation and the associated challenges for SMEs.

As a leading company for innovative MSP technologies, Datto has accompanied the MSP community worldwide and in the DACH region through this change and continuously expanded its solution portfolio so that partners can optimally support and secure their SME customers on the path to successful digitalisation.

Accordingly, Datto today offers a comprehensive range of solutions for MSPs from a single source, which, true to the company's philosophy of "MSP first", is uncompromisingly geared to the needs and requirements of managed service providers and is fully integrated: "Unified Continuity" brings together Datto's innovative security technologies for protecting data and applications in on-premises, hybrid, cloud and SaaS environments; "Business Management" offers Datto's leading cloud solutions Datto RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management) and Autotask PSA; and "Networking" provides MSPs with a comprehensive range of routers, switches and access points for managing networks.

With the aim of being able to optimally serve the continuously increasing demand and to expand the support offer for its partners, Datto has entered into a partnership with Infinigate, a leading European value-added distributor for cybersecurity solutions specialising in the MSP industry. Starting in February, Datto will transfer the ordering and billing processes for many of its products in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to Infinigate.

The Infinigate Group focuses on the distribution of sustainable IT security solutions for the protection and defence of the IT infrastructure as well as the cloud. As a true value added distributor, Infinigate Group focuses on and supports innovative, best-in-class security solutions that require a high level of expertise. With its strong set-up and locations in eleven European countries, Infinigate covers almost 85% of the West

ern European IT security market potential and establishes itself as the leading European Value Added Distributor for IT Security, Cloud and MSP

Jürgen Venhorst, Datto's Regional Sales Director DACH, says: "partnering with Infinigate in the DACH region is the next step for Datto to further optimise the Datto experience for our partners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The demand for managed services is booming and Infinigate has the expertise, network and capacity to optimally serve the associated high demand for our solutions. MSPs have excellent prospects for the future and with Infinigate as a distribution partner, we can even better ensure that they have reliable and fast access to our industry-leading products."

Robert Scicolone, Managing Director of Infinigate Germany, says: "strengthening our MSP offering for our partners is a clearly communicated goal. We are very excited to partner with Datto to support sales processes and expand our attractive portfolio for growth-oriented MSPs."

Datto is also realigning its DACH team, headquartered in Munich, as Jürgen Venhorst explains: "the focus of Datto's sales team in DACH will be on even better partner experience and stronger account management. This will allow us to address the individual needs of our partners in an even more targeted way and support them even better in growing their business."
