The pandemic and now the war waged by Russia in Ukraine have turned the working world upside down. The home office has gone from being an exception to the new normality in a very short time, and it is impossible to imagine everyday life for companies and their employees without it. To enable companies to organise remote work as simply, flexibly and cost-effectively as possible, the German PC vendor and distributor TAROX offers its customers an attractive and at the same time sustainable workstation rental model. With the DaaS (Device as a Service) concept, costs remain low and transparent, companies secure valuable competitive advantages.

"The requirements have changed, which means for us as an agile IT company: We have to adapt and expand our offering. With DaaS, we are doing just that and offering our partners and customers numerous advantages from a single source", says Kristian Krause, Head of Sales at TAROX Marketplace GmbH and Head of the DATA Business Unit within TAROX AG. With the DaaS model, companies only pay for the hardware and software equipment they really need and have a free choice between state-of-the-art hardware such as servers, workstations, notebooks or mini PCs, plus the world's leading software. The complete range can be flexibly financed and combined, even with third-party OEM hardware. Invoicing is per employee and month, so companies remain flexible at all times and can react to new conditions at short notice. Flexibility as a competitive advantage in a constantly changing market.

In addition to flexibility, the DaaS model is also ideal from a cost and billing perspective, as Krause explains: "the purchase price and thus the capital commitment are an important decision factor for every company when procuring IT. With our rental model, the costs remain low, transparent, very calculable and at the same time 100 per cent billable as monthly operating costs. And then there are the time savings: with our autopilot during installation, less than 30 minutes pass and the employees can get started and fully focus on their core business. And should there be any questions or problems, a personal contact person from our German-speaking technical support team is always available. Another advantage is that hardware and software are always up to date and therefore performant and secure."

Last but not least, the "Device as a Service" model also scores in terms of sustainability. TAROX has developed its own resource-saving sustainability model: After the devices have been returned after a rental cycle, they are checked by renowned re-marketing companies, all data is securely deleted in accordance with the latest data protection standards, the devices are repackaged and returned to the cycle. This extends the life cycle of each product. The resulting reduced acquisition costs benefit buyers such as schools, non-profit clubs and associations or price-conscious business customers.
