DrayTek, a manufacturer of network and telecom interconnection equipment for small and medium-sized businesses and access providers, has unveiled a distribution agreement with French cabling and networking specialist Uniformatic. As part of this agreement, around 20 DrayTek products, among its range of switches, access points and routers, have been added to Uniformatic's catalogue.
Thanks to this agreement, DrayTek intends to address the electrical equipment distribution market and thus develop its reputation among electricians, telecom installers and building finishers. Uniformatic is DrayTek's fifth largest wholesaler in France.
"Our partnership with Uniformatic opens the doors to the world of electricity. It enables us to offer our products to major players in the sector such as CGED, a member of the Sonepar Group", emphasises Fabrice Jard, Director of Development for DrayTek France.
Uniformatic, on the other hand, was experiencing a strong demand for high quality professional routing and switching products capable of meeting the needs of different types of customers. DrayTek products enable, for example, the deployment of the WiFi network of a hotel, a student residence or a camping site.
"We distribute brands known for their reliability and the quality of their products. DrayTek is well known for its range of routers, but it also offers entry-level switches with a good quality/price ratio. We also favour players, like DrayTek, who are able to ensure a follow-up over time, to provide advice and with whom we share common values in terms of customer support", explains Yves Dalbergue, President of Uniformatic.
DrayTek France provides technical training for the Uniformatic team, which also benefits from technical assistance. Draytek France also provides Uniformatic's customers with its skills transfer program, i.e. support (physical or telephone) to help them install DrayTek products.
