French AV VAD Groupe EAVS has started the exclusive distribution of Moffi, an innovative workspace reservation tool for AV integrators. Moffi complements and efficiently supports installed AV and IT products for ever more intelligent work environments. This software solution allows employees to reserve offices and meeting rooms. But it also goes much further.
"Moffi's main objective is to improve the management and organization of offices and meeting rooms while taking into account hybrid work. Office buildings are unoccupied up to 50% of the time. As for meeting rooms, they are booked up to 20% of the time", explains Christophe Botteri, CEO of EAVS Group.
The tool takes the form of a mobile application for users. They book their office, a meeting room or indicate that they will be teleworking or simply absent. The whole process is done in a few seconds.
On the manager's side, it is possible to analyse the real occupation in order to maximise the use of the building. Unoccupied offices become flexible so that they can be occupied by other employees. Those who do not necessarily have a dedicated office, such as sales people, can more easily reserve an office or a meeting room from time to time. Unoccupied offices can also be made available to other Moffi partner companies.
"More than just a declarative application, Moffi uses connected objects like presence sensors to confirm whether a room is occupied or not. The solution can also connect to touch screens at the entrance of rooms to update their content, manage lighting automatically, etc. The application shows the offices as a map to indicate precisely which office is reserved and which offices are free or occupied. This also makes it easier for employees to find their way around very large buildings or buildings they don't know", adds Christophe Botteri. "The platform references all work spaces, from the simple office to the conference room. And it works even if the company is located in several places. There are no surface constraints."
