Network and security VAD Exclusive Networks has promoted Laurent Daudré-Vignier as Managing Director France and Regional VP South EMEA (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Israel, Turkey, North Africa). He is passionate about new technologies and the world of IT, and his achievements include the creation of Exclusive Networks' Spanish and Portuguese entities and the early detection of the potential of Palo Alto Networks. With this strategic appointment, Exclusive Networks intends to continue its ascent in the global cybersecurity and cloud market. A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Gestion de Paris - now the Paris School of Business - Laurent Daudré-Vignier began his career at Quaternaire Informatique in 1986, before taking on the position of Managing Director and Founder of Attachmate Spain, an American software company. After 7 years dedicated to the development of this Iberian branch, he took on a new challenge by creating in 1996 the company New Link España - now known as Allasso - which he managed for 9 years. At the time of his departure, Allasso generated a turnover of more than €30m.
In 2007, he joined Exclusive Networks, setting up the distributor's first offices in Spain and Portugal. Eight years later, building on the success of these two entities, he was promoted to Regional Director South EMEA, overseeing the Group's Italian, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese and African (French-speaking countries) subsidiaries. After spending 30 years in Spain, Laurent accepted a new mission at the end of 2018, that of setting up Exclusive Networks in the US and Canada. His mission being over, Laurent returns to his favourite region with new challenges. Laurent Daudré-Vignier has now been appointed Managing Director of Exclusive Networks France following the departure of Franck Burtin for personal reasons. He also takes over as Regional VP South EMEA (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Israel, Turkey, Algeria and Morocco) as Regional VP South Europe. The development of this region, considered to be the most important for the Group, is a particularly strategic issue for Exclusive Networks. France is the Group's second largest country in terms of revenues, just after Great Britain. Laurent Daudré-Vignier's main tasks will include managing the growth of the Group's French subsidiary, supporting the Country Managers in the South EMEA region, maintaining and developing relations with vendors and ensuring that the Group's policy is properly applied.
