Exterro, provider of legal GRC software that combines e-discovery, digital forensics, data protection and cybersecurity compliance, has announced its partnership with Nuvias Group for Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Nuvias is a European distributor and will handle the distribution of Exterro solutions in Europe. Effective immediately, Nuvias will offer the Forensic Tool Kit (FTK) platform as well as the Incident and Breach Management and Smart Breach Review solutions through its distribution partners and support Exterro in its business development.
The fast-growing Nuvias Group sells innovative services and solutions covering a wide range of technologies, including intelligent networks, unified communications, infrastructure and cyber security. Through the distribution partnership with Exterro, Nuvias will expand this offering to include Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). This will open up opportunities for partners to leverage synergies between data protection, digital forensics and incident response by enabling them to manage all processes through a single platform in a reliable and legally compliant manner.
"Exterro's legal GRC solutions are a great fit for our security portfolio. They are unique in that they are an end-to-end solution that covers multiple GRC disciplines", explains Helge Scherff, Regional Vice President Central at Nuvias Group. "This enables our channel partners to provide enterprise, government, law enforcement, law firms and legal services end-users with tools to meet their diverse data protection, compliance and incident response needs."
Through the partnership, Exterro aims to leverage Nuvias' presence across Europe to target resellers in the compliance, cyber and incident response sectors, addressing both the public sector and regulated enterprises. For both sectors, legal compliance has become an important issue due to regulatory requirements such as the GDPR. Exterro will focus its expansion mainly on commercial markets in the DACH region.
"We are already well established in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the public sector with customers such as the Swiss Federal Administration. With Nuvias, we can now actively bring our offering to the corporate market. We will support these organisations in unifying their data processes with FTK Enterprise, Incident and Breach Management, Smart Breach Review as well as data protection and e-discovery solutions such as Data Inventory, Data Subject Access Request, Data Retention, In-Place Preservation and E-Discovery Data Management", emphasises Ian Rainsborough, Regional Vice President Channels at Exterro. "From a data protection perspective, this means they can use a single solution for GDPR compliance that also manages data breach notification and all digital investigations following a breach. This creates a complementary process for digital forensics and incident response."
Going forward, Exterro will benefit from Nuvias' regional sales and marketing expertise, as well as technical support and training opportunities. Nuvias will support Exterro both in the territories where the company is already established and in entering new markets, for example the Nordic countries.
