Swiss broadliner Alltron wins a distribution contract for products from the manufacturer Genetec. As the company announced recently, dealers and system integrators in the field of security can now purchase all of the manufacturer's uniform security and hazard management solutions from the Aargau-based distributor.
Genetec's offering is aimed at security integrators whose end users want to manage multiple security systems such as video surveillance, access control and automatic license plate recognition on a unified platform. These include industrial and commercial enterprises in the enterprise and SMB segments with a single site or many branches, as well as municipalities, railway stations or airports. Genetec's products are based on an open architecture, allowing users to choose from a wide range of end devices such as cameras, door controls, locks or PoE devices and third-party systems, and to integrate existing installations into a unified threat management system.
Genetec has previously served its customers in Switzerland directly. Now, for the first time, a distribution partner has been selected. "Working with Alltron brings our services closer to our Swiss customers", comments Mark Heller, Regional Sales Manager for Switzerland and Austria at Genetec. "Alltron is able to provide even closer support to its partners in all parts of the country and in all languages."
"We are proud that Genetec has chosen Alltron. We are pleased that we can now also offer existing and new partners comprehensive project support for Genetec's outstanding unified security solutions", said Alexander Wenzler, Head of Solutions at Alltron.
Alltron is now offering Genetec's complete portfolio. Only a small part is shown in the online shop. Alltron's two certified technical sales representatives are also able to provide their retail customers with solutions for security projects with complex requirements. This is made possible by working closely with Genetec's engineers in the development of system designs. Alltron and Genetec also plan to jointly offer workshops and certifications for integrators. Two introductory events will be held in late March (in French) and early April (in German).
