Security VAD Infinigate Group has unveiled record results of €813 million for the financial year 2021-2022 (01.04.21 -31.03 22) with 26% year-on-year growth and a major step towards its 2024 revenue target of €1.5 billion.

Infinigate had a strong start to 2022 with the acquisition of VAD D2B Informatique in France, which was an important step in its overall growth strategy of expanding its market reach through vendor expansion and M&A activity and consolidating its position as the leading distributor of cybersecurity solutions and subscriptions in EMEA, as well as enabling the best go-to-market (GTM) for cloud security vendors.

The fiscal year announcement coincides with a record quarter for the cybersecurity specialist, which now generates 80% of its revenue from subscription-based services.

The results also follow a pivotal year for the cybersecurity specialist, which was acquired by global investment firm Bridgepoint in March 2021. In October 2021, Infinigate Group announced that it had further strengthened its leadership team with key executive hires, including the appointment of industry veteran Julien Antoine to lead business development and the promotion of Andreas Bechtold to chief revenue officer. As part of its expansion, Infinigate has also rapidly grown its team, recording a 10% increase in headcount since March 2021.

In 2021, Infinigate continued to win a number of awards across EMEA, and Infinigate Sweden was named Distributor of the Year by cybersecurity vendor Clavister in November 2021. And already in 2022 Infinigate has won 5 awards. At the Channel Partner Awards Infinigate achieved Channel Excellence, at the IT Business Distri Awards Infinigate won in the VAD IT Security and VAD Managed Service categories. In addition, SonicWALL and sophos each named Infinigate Distributor of the Year FY2022.

Klaus Schlichtherle, CEO of Infinigate, said: "having already consolidated Infinigate's position as the leading VAD in Europe, our new strategic leaders hired last year have further strengthened the team and helped us prepare for the next phase of growth. An ever-increasing number of partnership agreements with multinational, industry-leading cybersecurity software vendors means we can offer our customers greater choice and helps us in our goal to become the first choice for cloud security vendors looking to grow revenue across the region."

Julien Antoine, Infinigate Chief Business Development Officer, said: "our relentless focus on value within our 'Value-Added Distribution` is at the heart of our success and growth. This customer focus is key - it enables us to respond with agility and support each customer individually. We are big and ambitious enough to offer the best industry solutions, yet small enough to be flexible and responsive - so we can offer vendors and resellers the best of both worlds."

"Our focus right now is to accelerate the digital value we deliver to our customers, with a focus on building strong, lasting relationships - we work as an extension of our customers' teams, and we want all of our company values to be present in both within our organisation and with our partners. We're excited to have experienced sales people and technicians in the industry looking to join us, especially as we look to expand our team to meet growing demand", Julien adds.

Founded in 1996, Infinigate Group now spans 11 European countries (Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands/Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom) and covers more than 80% of the Western European cybersecurity market, firmly establishing itself as the leading value-added cybersecurity distributor in Europe.
