Network and security VAD Infinigate Deutschland has unveiled a new distribution partnership with Illumio, the pioneer and market leader of Zero Trust Segmentation. Infinigate will offer the full Illumio portfolio, which helps organisations identify their risks, contain cyber attacks and ransomware, and secure their data to prevent security breaches from becoming cyber disasters.
Illumio's approach to Zero Trust starts with organisations identifying risk with an automated view of the IT environment that shows exactly how threats can navigate across applications, containers, clouds, data centres and endpoints. Illumio solutions quickly isolate ransomware and other attacks by blocking commonly used paths before or during an attack. By applying automated security policies, Illumio's zero-trust segmentation secures data by absorbing security breaches and protecting critical assets without compromising business agility.
Robert Scicolone, Managing Director of Infinigate Deutschland, explains the addition of Illumio to the Infinigate Security Portfolio: "the scope and scale of ransomware attacks, as well as other cyber threats, are now regularly in the daily news. The success of the attacks shows that cyber criminals are constantly finding new vulnerabilities in existing infrastructures to achieve their goals. For us, this means continuing to consistently keep an eye on new, innovative security concepts, evaluating them and adding them to our portfolio. We are pleased to have Illumio, the market leader for Zero Trust Segmentation, with us now, who has already convinced many well-known companies in Germany and internationally with its solution."
"The rise of ransomware and catastrophic security breaches is accelerating the adoption of a zero trust approach to protect valuable digital assets. We are pleased to partner with Infinigate Security to reduce the risk to modern businesses", said Scott Walker, Senior Director of EMEA Channel and Alliances, Illumio. "By partnering with Infinigate Security, organisations can identify their risk, isolate attacks and ransomware, and secure their data with Zero Trust segmentation."
