Broadliner Ingram Micro France has unveiled a new strategic collaboration agreement with Thales. The company will distribute Thales' SafeNet Trusted Access (STA) on its Cloud Marketplace. Under the terms of the partnership, Ingram Micro and Thales will support resellers in the deployment of cloud solutions that meet the growing demands of businesses for operational efficiency, productivity and infrastructure.
Thales' SafeNet Trusted Access (STA) solution is the answer to many challenges. Managing multiple cloud user identities is becoming increasingly challenging as more cloud applications are added. In concrete terms, the SafeNet Trusted Access solution developed by Thales (STA) provides a relevant response to the challenge of managing these identities.
It optimises the integration of new services through a secure approach to access requests while improving the user experience.
The Ingram Micro and Abbakan sales teams will combine their expertise in cybersecurity and their knowledge of Thales' offering to deliver this access management solution in a Cloud-as-a-Service approach. In addition, by leveraging the Ingram Micro Cloud marketplace, resellers will have access to efficient subscription management, renewals, reporting and billing.
"This partnership reinforces the transformation we began 10 years ago to strengthen our ability to support our partners in building their cloud business in a meaningful and sustainable way", said Frank Charvet, director of Ingram Micro's Cloud Division.
"The Ingram Micro Cloud and Abbakan teams, which form the Cyber Security Division I am fortunate enough to lead, are driven by a common ambition: to offer an exceptional value proposition to the exciting market they address", added Franck Navarro, Director of the Ingram Micro/Abbakan Cyber Security Division, France.
"Thales' Safenet Trusted Access (STA) cloud service for authentication and access management is now available to resellers on the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace. Resellers will be able to quickly install the solution, choose the subscription plan (basic or standard) that best suits their needs, offer their customers multiple authentication methods all included in the same license, and provide a high level of security while simplifying their digital transformation with confidence, speed and agility", concluded Philippe Inserra, Regional Channel Sales Director, Cloud Protection & Licensing.
