Broadliner Ingram Micro Nederland has signed a distribution agreement with Amazon Web Services. This will give resellers of Ingram Micro access to the wide range of highly scalable and cost-effective cloud services provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Amazon Web Services provides resellers with a highly reliable, scalable, cost-effective cloud-based infrastructure platform that is used to support the business needs of large enterprises, SMEs and start-ups around the world. With a variety of on-demand, pay as you go services, AWS provides resellers with key infrastructure services to build and deliver solutions for their customers faster and at a lower cost.

The agreement between Ingram Micro Nederland and Amazon builds on Ingram Micro's successful work as an AWS distributor in Brazil, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. Members of the AWS Partner Network (APN) programme may work with Ingram Micro to access a full range of business technology solutions to purchase and deliver cloud services.

"We are delighted to be able to expand our portfolio with AWS for our partners in the Netherlands. The broad selection of AWS services offers our resellers great opportunities and additional business value by expanding their cloud portfolio and enables them to offer secure, cost effective and reliable cloud services to their customers. With the right technical support, our partners can now provide their customers with world-class transforming cloud services", said Paul Hermans, Director Sales Cloud Benelux at Ingram Micro.

"As Ingram Micro, we strive to provide the best solution for our partners and their end customers. By partnering with Amazon, we are taking a big step towards Multi-Cloud. This makes the IT environment of end users secure, scalable and flexible. Our technical team helps our partners with Assessments, Migrations, Architecture sessions and training - AWS is a highly desirable addition to our cloud portfolio", says Frank Smits, Manager Advisory (Consultancy & Architecture).

Through the AWS distribution programme, Ingram Micro will be able to provide support and guidance to solution providers around new go-to-market strategies, their own business transformation, cloud operation models, billing and support. Resellers will be able to leverage the strong technical capabilities of Ingram Micro and AWS to scale their own businesses in a simple, flexible and cost-effective way.
