Broadliner Ingram Micro Italia has signed a new distribution agreement with Overland-Tandberg, a manufacturer of data centre infrastructure such as servers, NAS, SAN and hyperconverged storage systems, which has been in the market for forty years and has sold over five million machines and devices. Thanks to the new agreement with the distributor, Overland-Tandberg will be able to expand its ecosystem in Italy by reaching new retailers.
Ingram Micro will offer resellers its wide range of storage solutions based on Overland-Tandberg's proprietary technologies, RDX and Neo. The first abbreviation identifies removable disk systems, especially suitable for small and medium-sized business contexts, while the second refers to tape drives, which in the case of the Neo L to reach up to 25 petabytes of storage capacity with transfer rates of up to 113.4 TB/h.
"The agreement with Ingram Micro will allow us to make all of our products available to a large network of new resellers, who will be able to offer them to their customers and develop new business lines, capable of guaranteeing them great satisfaction", said Michelangelo Di Ianni, Overland-Tandberg's sales director for the Italian channel. "Indeed, our removable disk solutions and tape drives are increasingly in demand, as they guarantee the levels of reliability and flexibility that companies need today to archive their data and digital assets, as well as for backups."
