The development of skills in terms of cybersecurity is a strategic axis for the Ingram Micro group, which Ingram Micro France has materialised last year through the acquisition of security VAD Abbakan. For nearly 18 months, Ingram Micro and Abbakan teams have been combining their expertise and commitment to optimise the quality of service they provide to their respective partners.

As part of the relationship between the two organisations and as Ingram Micro enters a new phase of its evolution, Ingram Micro France has unveiled strong organisational changes to strengthen its relationship with all of its customer partners:

  • Sophie Deleval takes over the chairmanship of Abbakan in addition to Ingram Micro France in order to consolidate existing synergies and develop the agility necessary to build a value proposition worthy of our ambitions.

  • Jean-Charles Vasseur remains a member of the Abbakan management team as Managing Director and will bring his experience to the development of new business opportunities.

  • Ingram Micro France announces the creation of a Cybersecurity Division bringing together the Abbakan and Ingram Micro teams. Franck Navarro, Abbakan's current Managing Director, will lead the division. Franck Navarro will report to Steeve Ahache, Director of Strategy and Advanced Solutions Division Ingram Micro.

  • Steeve Ahache joins the Abbakan management team as Managing Director. As part of his mandate, Steeve Ahache will support the Abbakan teams so that they can be fully involved in the transformation process he is leading.

  • André Labrasserie, Abbakan Chief Financial Officer will report to Olivier Vo Thanh, Chief Financial Officer Ingram Micro.

Sophie Deleval says: "I am convinced that this organisation will enable us to realise the many opportunities in a growing market together with our partners, customers and publishers."

Steeve Ahache adds: "these changes are primarily aimed at simplifying our organization with our partners, improving our operational efficiency, but also and above all to further capitalize on the natural synergies that exist between our Infrastructure and Cloud and Cybersecurity offerings."
