Kappa Data Launches ThingsFlow

Koert Martens, Director of Technology at Kappa Data

With ThingsFlow, Belgian network and security VAD Kappa Data is launching its own platform on which resellers can quickly and easily get started with their IoT projects. On short term ThingsFlow will be available in 2 versions: ThingsFlow Education and ThingsFlow Lite.

ThingsFlow Education is the perfect tool for measuring air quality in schools. In addition to different types of sensors, Kappa Data also offers a cloud-based monitoring platform with which all information about the air quality of the various classrooms can be centrally logged and made available. In this way, principals get an optimal picture of their entire school and can make adjustments where necessary. Teachers receive feedback in the classroom by signing up with a QR code. Kappa Data resellers have meanwhile rolled out a number of projects, including one with the IVG school in Ghent.

In addition to ThingsFlow Education, Kappa Data also offers ThingsFlow Lite, which allows you to configure and manage numerous different sensors in no time. Moreover, dashboards can easily be added yourself. Ideal for starting up IoT projects quickly and easily without large investments and difficult knowledge processes.

Koert Martens, Director of Technology at Kappa Data, explained: "in addition to Networking and Security solutions, Kappa Data chose a year ago to start offering IoT solutions to its reseller. In addition to distribution contracts with Option and Pozyx, Kappa Data now offers resellers with ThingsFlow their own IoT platform solution. With ThingsFlow Education we are responding to the demand from educational institutions to measure air quality in an inexpensive, fast and safe way. ThingsFlow Lite offers a very wide range of possibilities for many different IoT projects."
