Broadliner Ingram Micro has added Liquidware to its Advanced Solutions portfolio. Liquidware, founded in 2009, is a pioneer in the development of desktop virtualisation solutions that complement leading platforms including Citrix Virtual Desktops and Apps (formerly XenApp/XenDesktop) VMware Horizon, Amazon WorkSpaces, Microsoft physical and virtual desktop, RDSH desktops as well as cloud hosted desktops on Amazon, Google and Azure.
Ingram Micro will launch the Adaptive Workspace Management solution. This solution consists of three components: Environment Management - Application Layering - Monitoring & Diagnostics. Liquidware presents a roadmap for delivering modern workspaces for organisations undergoing digital transformation through the three solutions. Liquidware's Adaptive Workspace Management (AWM) suite can support the development of a flexible, hybrid platform and cloud-based workspace design. Liquidware's AWM solutions, including ProfileUnity, Stratusphere UX and FlexApp, provide companies with an efficient, cost-effective approach to delivering computer resources to their workforce.
ProfileUnity provides policy, profile and security management enabling portability across all Windows OS workspaces, as well as physical, RDS, virtual and cloud. FlexApp Layering delivers applications instantly at startup, login or on-demand with the exclusive PackageOnce, FastPackaging and Click-to-Layer features. Stratusphere UX provides detailed statistics to support optimal hybrid workspace image and infrastructure design, as well as fast diagnostics and troubleshooting.
"The partnership with Liquidware fits seamlessly with our Modern Workplace strategy and is an important addition to our Software & Cloud portfolio", said Niels Groenhuizen, Business Unit Manager at Ingram Micro. "Thanks to Liquidware, we can offer better support to our partners when it comes to the digital transformation in the market, which is particularly important in these times. Liquidware offers platform-independent solutions that enable partners and end users to take the next step in their Workspace optimisation strategy. This enables us to offer our partners a more complete portfolio that responds to the rapid changes in their go-to-market strategy. Our sales and Technical Advisory teams will assist our partners with business case assessments, technical enablement, sales enablement and also marketing enablement."
"After four years of Land & Expand and increasing our footprint within both government and the healthcare sector in the Netherlands, the time has come to spread our wings further", says Morteza Esteki, VP Sales at Liquidware. "We are going to further expand and exploit our partner ecosystem. The developments of recent months have made it even clearer that we live and work in a user-centric era. An era in which the end user is central and IT must be an enabler. This year, companies have added hundreds of 'home' offices; it has become even more crucial for IT to stay in control by creating insight and continuing to guarantee service quality. Proactive management of Workspaces is more essential than ever. Liquidware is helping with its solutions in this digital transformation. Due to increasing demand from our partners, we have entered into a strategic partnership with Ingram Micro so that we can respond to the needs of the market, but also of the partner ecosystem. The coming weeks will be used by both teams to make the partner plans for 2021. In this way, we will be able to combine our knowledge and strengths and support our partners even better from the start of the new year. Only together will we be stronger!"
