British AV broadliner Midwich has unveiled an important new distribution partnership with Barco for their ClickShare product line including the newly launched ClickShare Conference.
The agreement covers Sidev in France, Square One in Ireland and Midwich in the United Kingdom and sees the Group strengthen its leading portfolio in the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) marketplace. This extends the Group’s relationship with Barco ClickShare which is already available via Starin Marketing in the US and MobilePro in Switzerland.
Stuart Mizon, Group Commercial Director for Midwich, comments: “securing Barco ClickShare, signifies an important moment for our trading partners throughout the IT and AV industry. To support this demand, we will be creating a dedicated UC division responsible for supporting our Midwich, Square One and Sidev customer base. Barco has been a key partner for the Group for over 5 years, across key technology areas such as Projection, LCD Video Walls, Image Processing and their wePresent products. To add their flagship product, ClickShare to our UC&C portfolio leaves us well positioned for Barco’s products and technology support.”
Anthony Wright, Channel Director WE for Barco, adds: “the addition of Midwich & Sidev to our ClickShare distribution network will enable Barco to provide their accredited Channel Partners with a solution approach embracing LCD videowalls, Projection, Image Processing, Wepresent, and ClickShare. This OneBarco approach combined with Midwich dedicated support and the creation of a UC division offers a great value-add service approach to the UK/Ireland and French markets.“
The new ClickShare wireless conferencing systems will be the central hub of your meeting space, integrating the user laptop, conferencing platform (UC) and any brand of AV USB-peripheral. Offering solutions for huddle spaces through to board and conference rooms the Clickshare CX range is not just BYOD (bring your own device) but BYOM (bring your own meeting) and couldn't be more relevant at a time when video meetings are at the top of everyone's agenda and consciousness.
