Ukrainian infrastructure VAD MUK Group and Nutanix, a developer of solutions for building hyperconvergent infrastructures and software repositories, have announced the signing of a distribution contract in Armenia, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine.
"Nutanix's flagship product is the Virtual Computing Platform software and hardware system, built on modular principles from standard server nodes that run under one of the hypervisors (VMware ESX, Microsoft Hyper-V or its own - Acropolis based on KVM). They are combined into a single pool thanks to the Nutanix operating system, one of the components of which is a special virtual machine that serves all I / O operations of the hypervisor and other virtual machines of the node. Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform dramatically simplifies the deployment of virtual machines and provides a simple modular approach to building modern datacentres", says Ihor Pereverzev, president of MUK Group.
Nutanix's portfolio also includes separately distributed software that belongs to the class of hyperconvergent systems. Among the main products is the distributed management and orchestration platform Acropolis Operating System (AOS). The operating system provides automatic storage, scalability, space efficiency, security and data protection. The Nutanix HCI platform runs on AOS. Also worth noting is the aforementioned open source Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) and the Prism solution, which allows integrated management of virtual data center environments. In addition to the above, Nutanix offers a number of other software products.
