Owl Labs, a company specialising in immersive and collaborative videoconferencing technology and services, has unveiled a partnership with French A/V VAD FVS. For 40 years, FVS has offered a vast catalogue of solutions and services, pursuing its mission of listening, advising and supporting its partners in their projects.

The collaboration between Owl Labs and FVS is part of a joint approach aimed at strengthening the presence of Owl Labs on the sectoral markets in France. Through this partnership, Owl Labs will now be able to extend the reach and accessibility of its award-winning flagship product, the Meeting Owl Pro, an all-in-one video conferencing product that is ideally suited to new hybrid, education and office environments.

With the rapid adoption of hybrid working by remote teams, it is now vital to maintain effective communication and collaboration regardless of location. According to a May 2021 Owl Labs study on the state of hybrid working, 86% of French businesses plan to continue working in a hybrid way after the pandemic. They will therefore need to find better ways to connect their employees, whether they work in the office or at home. With Meeting Owl Pro, companies can provide a seamless collaboration experience for their employees, no matter where they are. Using artificial intelligence and proprietary Owl Labs technology, Meeting Owl Pro automatically focuses on the people talking in a room using audio-visual signals from its high-definition 360-degree camera, eight microphones and three speakers, with a range of five metres. With this intelligent technology, the device can create a fully immersive, almost face-to-face experience for all participants. It is also compatible with all video conferencing platforms such as zoom or Teams, and requires no special drivers to operate.

"Our partnership with FVS increases our presence throughout France to support businesses that want to continue to work in the hybrid model and engage with their customers wherever they are. The State of Hybrid Working report we recently conducted showed that 85% of French business leaders are putting policies in place to support hybrid working, and for 36% of them, this includes investing in the communication tools needed to work remotely, such as Meeting Owl Pro. Our presence in the FVS catalogue will effectively address this growing demand, and will help French-based businesses and educational institutions more easily use Owl Labs' collaboration technology to maintain and facilitate clear and effective communication with employees or students, no matter where they are", said Frank Weishaupt, CEO of Owl Labs.

"The entire French market, regardless of the sector, must continue to evolve and adapt to the new requirements of customers and employees in terms of collaboration and information sharing. We are therefore very pleased to be able to offer Owl Labs solutions to our customers in order to support them in this transformation", comments Vincent Fournet, FVS Marketing Director.

Owl Labs products are used by more than 75,000 companies in 156 countries across a range of industries, including Ogilvy, ClearScore, bioMérieux, Bern University of Applied Sciences and Prague College. Owl Labs was recently named Communication Technology of the Year by the AV Technology Awards, as well as winner of the German Design Award and the Red Dot Award. Owl Labs' Meeting Owl Pro is also listed in TIME magazine's Top 100 Inventions of 2020.
