German broadliner Siewert & Kau now offers the innovative storage solutions of Asustor. The independently operating ASUS subsidiary is a pioneer in the market for user-friendly NAS solutions that are suitable for consumers as well as small and medium-sized businesses.

Whether gaming, streaming, secure backup or fast access to data in the company cloud - since its foundation in 2011 Asustor has been at the forefront of the market for smaller NAS systems. No wonder, as the company, which is based in Taipei, Taiwan, has repeatedly drawn attention to itself with innovative features. In addition to high-quality hardware, the systems convince with intuitively operated multimedia apps. Asustor was also the first supplier to offer systems with HDMI output.

"Asustor has made NAS solutions consumer-friendly. Even laymen can master them with just a few clicks. Therefore the solutions fit perfectly into our portfolio, because they sensibly expand our B2B segment", says Achim Reichstein, Purchasing Manager at Siewert & Kau.

"With the new partnership we are focusing specifically on the German-speaking market", says Ove Brinkmann, responsible for sales and marketing at Asustor. "Already available are the Lockestor 8 and Lockestor 10 systems. The NAS solutions designed for private users and network workgroups are driven by the latest generation of Intel's Atom quad-core processors, they each have two 10 GbE and two 2.5 GbE interfaces and offer space for eight or ten SATA hard drives. A further innovation: The systems come with apps for streaming platforms such as Twitch or YouTube."

New NAS systems from the Lockestor Pro series will also be available in June, which are aimed primarily at small and medium-sized companies. They also come with well thought-out and powerful features. The command has an Intel XEON quad-core processor of the 9th generation, there are SSD ports for fast caching, plus 10GbE and 2.5GbE ports, and common virtual machines are also supported. The new systems - designed as tower (Lockestor 10 Pro) or rackmount (Lockestor 12 Pro and 16 Pro) - offer space for ten, twelve or 16 hard disks.

Siewert & Kau offers Asustor products to customers in Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
