Tarox Distributes MSP Solutions from Sophos

Alexander Wiediker, head of Tarox Cyber Security

German PC vendor and distributor Tarox AG has started to offering its system house partners the full range of Sophos MSP solutions. Tarox customers can now benefit from the convenience of these IT services with high security standards through easy deployment and management, reduced costs and increased revenues. The holistic solution provider from Westphalia now works as an MSP distributor and has signed a cooperation agreement with Sophos. Sophos is a specialist in security software developed in-house, offering a wide range of products from data and virus protection to encryption solutions and security products against spam, phishing and malware.

"Compared to other IT security companies, Sophos specialises in complete solutions for networks of companies, government agencies or universities. The holistic offer from a single source with a very convincing program for our security portfolio provides system house partners with new opportunities", said Alexander Wiediker, head of Tarox Cyber Security. "A security provider for endpoint and network solutions simplifies customer administration, allows efficient integration of security tools and enables flexible prices and simple billing models. Tarox thus satisfies the growing needs of its system house partners, who in their role as Managed Security Providers (MSP) want to meet the increasingly complicated challenges with simplified processes despite individual requirements."

In summary, synchronised security includes XG firewall, secure gateway for web/e-mail/WiFi, endpoint protection, mobile control, server security and SafeGuard encryption for comprehensive protection. The flexible Sophos MSP Connect partner program is designed to provide comprehensive and simple solutions with a high level of protection. The company's own research centres in Oxford, Boston, Vancouver and Sydney constantly analyse new threats, such as viruses, and develop customised defence programs. The entire know-how flows into the partner programs so that users are always up to date. With MSP Connect, system house partners can offer tailor-made services for B2B customers that include current trends in IT security protection. Whether endpoint or network, server or mobile device: with the industry-leading solutions, risks can be effectively contained and threats successfully combated.

"Sophos is the only security provider for Managed Service Providers who can offer their business customers a fully integrated solution", said Wiediker, praising the central management platform: "Sophos Central for Partners is cloud-based, saves time and money in all processes and, for example, combines all views on customer licenses. New trial versions are easy to create, activate accounts or access the admin console to quickly perform administrative tasks, or access monthly billing reports via PSA integration or CSV file export."

With Sophos MSP Connect, system-house partners can choose how they want to sell licenses to enterprise customers: either as subscriptions with terms of one, two or three years, or as a flex option with monthly billing frequency. Both models are integrated with Sophos Central, making it easy to manage customers and licenses. Service based pricing is also included and provided as part of the monthly billing report. Billing can be integrated with popular tools, maximising return on investment by leveraging existing tools. This provides control over the business and additional flexibility to offer good prices with good margins. "In addition to the technically sound solution as state-of-the-art in cyber security, it was important to us that our system house partners receive the best protection at good conditions to boost their business", emphasises Alexander Wiediker, head of Tarox Cyber Security. "With Sophos, which stands for around 30 years of experience in IT security and more than 100 million users in 150 countries worldwide, Tarox now presents exactly the right partner for our partners."
