Maverick AV Solutions, Tech Data's A/V solutions division, has signed a distribution agreement with Sennheiser, the world's leading manufacturer of audio systems and communications specialists, for the DACH region.
Sennheiser's audio solutions, now available through Maverick AV Solutions offices in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, aim to meet the increasing demand for superior audio quality in today's conferencing systems. The portfolio of conferencing technologies includes the recently introduced TeamConnect Intelligent Speaker (TC ISP) for Microsoft Teams Rooms and the popular TeamConnect Ceiling 2 (TCC2) microphone.
The distribution agreement represents Sennheiser's entry into the IT sales channel for the expanded marketing of its own audio systems for meetings and conferences.

TeamConnect Ceiling 2 is ideally suited for medium to large conference rooms with an area of 50 to 60 sqm or 14 to 16 participants. Coverage can be increased by using multiple ceiling microphones, for example in very large or awkwardly designed rooms. It is the perfect solution for all boardrooms and conference rooms that require excellent intelligibility, ease of use and seamless integration with existing conference systems.

As a smart speaker certified for Microsoft teams, the TC ISP is specially designed for hybrid environments and ensures that teams are networked regardless of their location. Using advanced speech recognition, the TC ISP distinguishes between voices to enable automatic meeting logging, transmission of to-do lists, and invitation of attendees to follow-up meetings. It is equipped with an omnidirectional loudspeaker with a radius of 3.5 m and seven integrated beamforming microphones. This ensures a realistic experience for all participants and also supports the new hybrid working model.
