Tech Data Makes New Management Appointments at Datech and Maverick AV Solutions
Broadliner Tech Data Deutschland is saying goodbye to one of its longest-serving managers at the end of December. Jörg Lauer, Director of Datech Solutions DACH & Maverick AV Solutions, is retiring and will hand over his duties to Tanja Tschorn and Christian List (both Tech Data).
Tanja Tschorn, who has been in the Maverick AV Solutions team since 2015, will become Business Unit Director Maverick AV Solution for the DACH region. The experienced digital signage expert brings extensive industry expertise and is characterised by a team-oriented approach and entrepreneurial attitude. She will lead the implementation of collaboration and digital signage solution strategies and develop innovations for Maverick's IT and AV customers.
Tanja Tschorn comments: "there has never been a more exciting time to take over the leadership of Maverick in this region - I am very much looking forward to it. The DACH region is a very successful region for Maverick, with both smart meeting and smart signage solutions being rolled out on a large scale. There is a great opportunity to develop new recurring revenue solutions for our industry (e.g. tech-as-a-service) as video conferencing technology becomes a central part of both enterprise and SME business operations."
Christian List, previously Business Unit Director of Maverick AV Solutions in DACH, will take over the management of Datech Solutions in DACH. The experienced manager has been part of Tech Data's management circle since 2016 and has played a key role in shaping the development and expansion of Maverick AV Solutions. Prior to this, the Austrian-born manager spent almost 16 years at HP Inc. in both regional and international responsibility.
Christian List says on on his move to Datech Solutions: "in the German-speaking architecture and construction industry, as well as in parts of the SME industry, digitalisation is far from complete and there is therefore still a lot of growth potential for our partners. I am therefore very pleased to continue to actively support our sales partners with the well-established team in selling Autodesk solutions."
