Broadliner Tech Data has signed a distribution agreement for the DACH region with Wallix, a European provider of cyber security software and market leader in the field of privileged access management (PAM). Tech Data sales partners in Austria, Germany and Switzerland will now have access to the comprehensive portfolio of the specialist for secure access management.
Wallix is a European provider of cyber security software and a specialist in access control, identity and access rights management. Wallix solutions protect organisations from cyber threats, data theft and data manipulation, mainly caused by identity theft or misappropriated access accounts. Wallix's robust, easy-to-use and quick-to-deploy solutions fit seamlessly into Tech Data's end-to-end portfolio.
Ralf Stadler, Director of the Security, Mobility & IoT Business Unit at Tech Data DACH, commented on the new contract: "I am very pleased to have signed this contract with Wallix, which will enable us to offer our partners solutions for secure access management with immediate effect. IAM (Identity Access Management) and PAM are very clear focal points in our solution-oriented orientation. For cybersecurity, Wallix offers a comprehensive solution that is very easy to integrate and implement with a seamless user experience. It is also very easy to use as well as maintain."
Stadler added: "according to KuppingerCole, Wallix is one of the technology leaders in the market and protects clients' strategic assets by controlling and managing user privileges as well as access to sensitive assets. The solution is end-to-end certified and provides audit-proof compliance with national, country or business regulations."
In addition to consulting services, Tech Data offers its partners individual support and optimal solutions that are tailored to the needs of the company. Existing IT concepts can thus be put to the test and optimised with regard to the increasing complexity of infrastructures and requirements.
Together, Tech Data and Wallix are pursuing an integrative approach: both companies have made it their task to provide their customers and partners with the necessary support and tools in these times of digital transformation and unexpected developments, in order to get safely through the current crisis and to be successfully positioned for future challenges.
Stefan Rabben, Area Director Sales DACH & Eastern Europe at Wallix, comments on the new agreement: "we are delighted to be working with a strong distributor. With our identity and access security solution portfolio, companies implement a zero-trust architecture that helps prevent cyberattacks. This way, they are effectively protected against cyber risks. "It is all about Access": A security incident is always preceded by (unauthorised) access - be it by people, services or even malware. In this way, companies in all sectors - healthcare, industry, finance, etc. - can carry out a successful digital transformation, safely and securely."
