Tech Data Signs with CoComm

Olivier Guillard, Mobility Business Unit Director for Tech Data Endpoint Solutions

Broadliner Tech Data France enriches its Endpoint Solutions offer by becoming a distributor of CoComm, a manufacturer of fixed-line phones with mobile technology. These fixed telephones which embark a SIM card pave the way for the development of connectivity and meet the needs for innovation and technological evolution imposed by the market. The objective is to replace traditional telephony with wireless office phones using 2G, 3G and also 4G technology.

Olivier Guillard, Mobility Business Unit Director for Tech Data Endpoint Solutions, explains: "Cocomm's ambition in the fixed telephony market sets them apart and makes them partners of choice. We really believe in the potential of their solutions based on the gradual phasing out of the switched telephone network and the need for fixed telephony connectivity."

For 5 years, CoComm has been involved in the evolution of office telephony, developing software and hardware based on IoT services. The company has designed a range of products perfectly adapted to meet the needs of wireline technology replacement. The range of 6 products, from 2G to 4G, allows you to bring your office line anywhere. It is available immediately.

Olivier Guillard added: "it is a real pleasure to add Cocomm to our Endpoint Solutions portfolio and thus meet two of our ambitions by expanding our product offering while offering disruptive landline technology."

Remigio Lluch, CEO of CoComm, comments: "it is an honour to be able to benefit from Tech Data's commercial support for the launch of the CoComm brand in France and then in Europe. The regulatory context imposes a change in the rules of use of fixed telephony. Tech Data and CoComm have signed a partnership agreement in order to meet the growing needs of companies and soon to be individuals to develop their fixed telephony while maintaining control over their costs and therefore their profitability."
