Broadliner Tech Data has expanded its portfolio of products and services in Germany to include ProLion solutions in order to offer sales partners targeted enhancement solutions for NetApp storage systems and in the SAP environment.
The Austrian manufacturer ProLion develops innovative solutions in the NetApp and SAP environment and provides customers with solutions in the area of automatic switchovers, protection against malware attacks and data manipulation as well as backup and data management. With immediate effect, Tech Data sales partners have the opportunity to purchase the entire ProLion hardware and software portfolio from the Value Add Distributor.
The portfolio includes the ClusterLion solution for the NetApp metrocluster and SAP, which - even in the event of a power failure and site disaster - enables an automatic switchover to achieve always-ON availability. Only two data centre locations are required for the use of ClusterLion - thus considerably reducing costs and above all complexity.
Further solutions from ProLion offer protection against malware attacks, round off data management and data analysis solutions and optimise backup and restore management.
Thomas Kleinkuhnen, Director Enterprise Infrastructure of Tech Data Advanced Solutions DACH, comments on the conclusion of the contract: "I am very pleased about the signing of the contract with ProLion, as their solution portfolio enables us to provide our business partners with even more comprehensive advice. NetApp sales partners in particular will thus be able to open up new business areas with which they can significantly support the transformation of their customers."
"In Tech Data we have found a long-standing and experienced NetApp distributor who provides perfect support for our specialist dealers. We know that quality, the highest level of consulting expertise and customer satisfaction are top priorities at Tech Data", adds Robert Graf, CEO ProLion. "This partnership enables us to continue to grow and to place our products on the market even more successfully. We are therefore very pleased about this partnership with Tech Data."
