Tech Data stores on Crucial

Broadliner Tech Data Germany has signed a distribution agreement with Micron, one of the world's largest memory manufacturers, for the sale of the Crucial work and data storage brand. Global Computing Components (GCC), its division specialised in components, will include this brand in its portfolio with immediate effect. For over 35 years, the products of the Crucial brand have been convincing with their compatibility and reliability. Tech Data sales partners can now access internal SSDs, external SSDs standard DDR3/DDR4 memory and memory for the gaming segment. In January, Crucial announced the latest generation of gaming RAM, the Crucial Ballistix, which impresses with high speeds and low latency. The powerful memories have been carefully designed and engineered to deliver the performance that gamers, builders and overclockers need and expect. Thomas Klein, director GCC for Tech Data, is pleased about the conclusion of the contract: "with the Crucial brand we are gaining a manufacturer whose portfolio is the only one that covers the complete hierarchy for datacentres and offers a wide range of special solutions. And with this, we are also addressing an extremely broad dealer base - from system integrators, corporate VARs, OEMs and ISVs to SMB channels and e-tail/retail, the award-winning products are interesting."
