Tech Data Unveils FootPrint, its First Sustainability Campaign Dedicated to Print

As part of its CSR approach, broadliner Tech Data France is launching FootPrint, its first multi-vendor sustainability campaign entirely dedicated to the print environment. With Brother, Canon, Dymo, Epson, Fujitsu, HP and Xerox as partners, Tech Data is supporting Reforest'Action, a unique crowd-planting platform, in its forest restoration project in Côte d'Ivoire.


To promote this new commitment, Tech Data is organising a competition for its SME resellers: for each green print product sold via the FootPrint programme, a tree will be planted. Customers will also be able to collect tickets, which will be donated to Techmiles. Tech Data will reward the 30 winning resellers with 7,000 Techmiles!


The operation has started on March 1st, 2021: Tech Data has then unveiled its FootPrint shop, a dedicated microsite, directly on Intouch, its online sales platform.


Respect for the environment is a major issue for Tech Data. Through its CSR approach, the company aims to contribute to the development of a greener world. By joining forces with Reforest'Action, the objective is to participate in the preservation and restoration of forests in order to develop their multiple environmental, social and economic benefits over the long term.


Reforest'Action is a French B Corp certified company founded in 2010, based on a unique crowdplanting model. In 2020, the milestone of 10 million trees planted or regenerated was passed.
