The AITEK group, a key player in African IT distribution, has unveiled its expansion in France with the opening of a new subsidiary in Sophia Antipolis.

Since its creation in 2004, AITEK, which is headquartered in Côte d'Ivoire, has consolidated its local positioning in key African countries by successively opening subsidiaries in Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Togo, Ghana and Cameroon. More recently, in July 2019, the group also announced the start of its operations in Jebel Ali (UAE) in order to better respond to the growing opportunities in a high-potential area attracting the attention of companies worldwide.

Redda Ben Geloune, President of the AITEK Group, said: "we are very pleased to open AITEK France in such a dynamic area as Sophia Antipolis. This decision responds to two strategic imperatives. The first is to continue our geographical expansion on a continent where we were not yet present and which offers interesting prospects for our group. The second is to strengthen our proximity to the ecosystem of innovative start-ups with which we will be able to forge links in the future."
