Trax Distribution, a French distributor of electronic products and connected objects for the general public, announces a new partnership Pebble Gear, specialised in the development of tablets for children: it now becomes the exclusive distributor in France and Belgium of 17,8cm Disney tablets for children aged 3 to 8 years old developed with Pebble Gear.

After an already important success in Germany, Trax will be able to offer all the players in the mass distribution and e-commerce sectors a reliable and fun technology with strong licences such as Cars, Toy Story 4, Mickey and his friends and The Snow Queen 2.

"With more than 25 years of experience in the field of technology and interactive entertainment for children, Pebble Gear highlights the quality of its products with the aim of providing tools to help children learn to read and write and develop their imagination while playing. The brand benefits from the experience of the best partners and specialists in the field to create products that parents can trust", says Olivier Granger, the managing director of Trax Distribution.

The Disney tablets, specific to each universe, include collections of exclusive stories and games, as well as various and varied ebooks :

  • 3 themed games adapted to children's ages

  • different levels of difficulty for different ages

  • up to 12 levels of difficulty depending on age and games

  • 10 e-books of the four licences with age-appropriate reading levels

In addition to pre-installed content that is free for life, each Disney tablet has a Junior GameStore with additional content of over 500 learning games and applications that are updated regularly. Access to the Gamestore is free for the first year, giving access to the entire available catalogue. Eventually, parents choose different packages adapted to the needs of their children.

To ensure confidence and safety for parents and to let their children play unsupervised, the tablets are equipped with a secure internet filter, Kiddoware Safe Browser, with lifetime access that prevents online purchases, blocks advertising and activates a whitelist feature, as well as a parental monitoring dashboard ensuring continuous access for parents.

In addition to the tablet, a labelled protective shell is provided for optimum protection. A collection of official Disney accessories are also available, including carrying cases and protective films.

In terms of technology, these 17.8-cm tablets are equipped with a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, a built-in speaker and microphone and two cameras, one front and one rear. The Disney tablets' screens also have a blue filter to protect children's vision.
