Qualstar is an established provider of data storage and management products based on LTO technology. These include the Q series of entry-level compact tape libraries, the RLS series of mid-range solutions and the XLS series of enterprise tape libraries.
"Tape libraries are not losing their popularity because they are a fast, capacious and economical archiving medium. They are perfect for projects that aim to create space for long-term storage of files without the need for deduplication. As part of our partnership with Qualstar, we will be reminding partners and their customers about the potential of tape storage. We will use the All of Backup educational project for this purpose, thanks to which we have been raising user awareness of backup and archiving for several years now", explained Bartosz Niezabitowski, one of the two product managers of Qualstar for Veracomp - Exclusive Networks with Konrad Szmeil.
In turn Steven N. Bronson, CEO of Qualstar, highlighted the key objectives of the manufacturer and distributor: "this is the right step in our strategic market expansion. Backed by Qualstar's cost-effective and highly reliable solutions, Veracomp - Exclusive Networks will be able to leverage its unique expertise to deliver state-of-the-art tape libraries to European markets."
"Veracomp - Exclusive Networks' partner network and experience in providing digital storage solutions will certainly help us penetrate deep into the market and re-establish Qualstar's presence in Eastern Europe", added Arun Vaishampaya, VP Global Sales at Qualstar Corporation.
