WE.CONNECT Acquires print specialists Dyadem, Octant and Sham

WE.CONNECT, a specialist in high-tech accessories for accessories for computers, mobiles and sound, and the distribution of computer products and peripherals through broadliner MGF, has acquired for an undisclosed amount a French group of companies specialised in printing, comprising of reseller Dyadem, distributor Octant and their logistics platform Sham.


These entities, which generated sales of €59.7m and net income of €1.1m as at 31 March 2021, will enable the Group to enhance its catalogue with a complementary range of printers and consumables, while developing a cross-selling strategy across all customer bases.


Founded in 1992 and 1999, Dyadem and Octant are experts in printing systems, consumables and data backup based near Tours (central France). The two companies have developed a catalogue of the biggest printer and consumable brands such as Brother, Epson, HP, Lexmark, Pantum, Ricoh, etc., and a strong partnership with Fuji for data backup products. Together with their Sham logistics platform, these entities employ nearly 80 people, including a sales force of 20.


After the successful integration of Techniline in 2015 and PCA France and its own brand Halterrego in 2017, the company now has a sales force of 20. WE.CONNECT is continuing its acquisition cycle in order to to extend its scope of activity and consolidate its position as a reference in the distribution of high-tech of high-tech equipment.


In a market environment marked by an accelerated penetration of digital assets among individuals and of digital assets among individuals and businesses, this strategic acquisition offers major synergies synergies with, in particular, a significant enrichment of the customer base and the product product catalogue.


WE.CONNECT will thus be able to complete its offer, which is mainly composed of computers, monitors, peripherals and monitors, peripherals and accessories with a range of leading printer brands and consumables and consumables for its retail customers and IT resellers.


Reciprocally, Dyadem and Octant will benefit from the enrichment of their offer and and will distribute WE.CONNECT's brands Techniline and Halterrego (accessories and connectivity).


Finally, WE.CONNECT will share some of its fixed costs thanks to their better absorption by volumes: "we are very pleased to welcome the Dyadem, Octant and Sham teams into our group.
