Westcon Signs with Titus
Security VAD Westcon Security has signed a worldwide distribution agreement with Titus, the market-leading data-protection firm and expert in data classification. The agreement further strengthens our Next Generation Solutions (NGS) offering, adding a global leader in data identification and classification to our vendor portfolio.
The distributor has recently increased our Go-to-Market engagement with a number of emerging technology vendors, moving forward in supporting the channel to combat the ever-evolving and continually changing cyber threats to business.
With the ease at which large amounts of data can be shared via email, digital media and cloud apps, organisations are facing a growing risk of sensitive data breaches. With Titus, organisations can make intelligent, deliberate decisions on how information is handled as part of an effective information governance strategy.
Daniel Hurel, Vice President of EMEA, Cyber Security and Next Gen Solutions, Westcon, said: “this agreement with Titus will give us a good opportunity to help our partners strengthen their cyber security offerings. It will enable them to offer the help and support required to remain best placed to be one step ahead of cyber security trends. With Titus, organisations can navigate the complex reality of keeping their most critical data identified and secured in the face of the ever-increasing amount of data being shared digitally and a surge in global data privacy legislation. Any DLP project should start with data identification and classification, and that’s why the solution from Titus is crucial to success. We believe that this partnership will be beneficial to both parties involved as well as to our global network of partners. Due to our expertise in this sector, we can work with Titus to help maintain its strong position within the data security market.”
Sebastien Roques, EMEA VP Sales at Titus, added: “we are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Westcon to grow our presence. Titus shares Westcon’s focus on enhancing the success of its business partners to deliver solutions that help customers identify and secure their sensitive data while meeting regulatory compliance. We are looking forward to the opportunity to provide organisations throughout the region with the ability to build a strong data security strategy by adding context and identifying sensitive data with full traceability and auditing.”
