Swiss broadliner Alltron has complemented its unified communications portfolio with the Yamaha brand. Swiss specialist dealers can now obtain Yamaha's UC range exclusively from Alltron's stock.
Yamaha has been in the unified communications business for more than fourteen years and is the market leader in Japan. The manufacturer expanded into the United States in 2014 with the acquisition of Revolabs, a manufacturer specialising in conference systems. Revolabs became a subsidiary of Yamaha and was renamed Yamaha Unified Communications (UC) in 2018. Yamaha is now focusing on the European market. The UC business has been part of the Professional Audio Division of Yamaha Music Europe since 2019.
Since last year, Yamaha's AV collaboration solutions have been available in Europe. The distribution network is being gradually expanded. Yamaha has chosen Alltron AG as its UC distributor for Switzerland. "We look forward to working with the Swiss specialist trade, with Alltron acting as an important link", says Marcus-Michael Müller, Manager Sales & Marketing Unified Communications Europe at Yamaha Music Europe.
The range includes loudspeakers and soundbars for video collaboration, microphone systems and conference phones. The traditional brand addresses enterprise, government, education, hospitality and SMB markets with its UC product line.
"Yamaha complements our Unified Communications and Collaboration offering with solutions that will appeal to business end users with high demands on audio quality", said Pius Gloor, Lead Competence Center Work Smart at Alltron.
In the wake of the Covid 19 crisis, Alltron is starting to expand its product range with Yamaha's simple AV collaboration solutions for offices, huddle rooms and meeting rooms. In collaboration with Alltron's in-house professional AV team, the company will offer integrators conference room and seminar solutions based on Yamaha equipment.
