Tech Data Signs Distribution Agreement With Samsung for Knox

Tech Data has rounded off its security solution portfolio with Samsung Knox, a special solution for mobile security.

 

 

With Samsung Knox, sales partners of the Munich distributor now have access to a broadly diversified security solution. The solution reliably protects Samsung smartphones and tablets against manipulation and data theft. The basis for this is a multi-layer technology, which is already integrated in hardware and software of current Samsung devices. Knox continuously monitors the state of the device, protects mobile devices during the boot process and protects against unauthorised code and malicious root access. Knox provides extensive security for business devices without creating cumbersome complexity. This allows companies to reliably protect their data while offering their employees user-friendly mobile working.

 

Various enterprise mobility solutions are based on the Knox security platform: Knox Workspace, for example, is a container solution that allows business applications and data on the smartphone to be isolated from personal data while maintaining high security standards. IT departments of medium-sized and large companies can continue to rely on their existing EMM solutions and manage their fleets highly efficiently with services such as Knox Mobile Enrollment (mass deployment tool "KME"). The Knox Workspace offers numerous configuration options in terms of productivity and security via the EMM.
