Tech Data Concludes New Distribution Agreement with RadarServices

November 6, 2018

The range of security solutions offered by Tech Data's Advanced Solutions business unit in Germany was again rounded off - with RadarServices, the distributor has added a provider of risk analysis systems to its portfolio. RadarServices offers companies and public authorities a unique, proactive monitoring, alerting and risk management service for their IT security as a managed service.

RadarServices is Europe's leading technology company in the field of Security Detection & Response. The focus is on the timely detection of risks for the security of IT in companies and public authorities. Solutions are available both on-premise and as managed services. The basis for this is a state-of-the-art, self-developed technology platform with which customers can set up their own Security Operations Center (SOC). Alternatively, a Managed Soc-Service solution can be implemented using RadarService security analysis experts, proven processes and best practices. The result: a particularly effective and efficient improvement in IT security and IT risk management, continuous IT security monitoring and an overview of security-relevant information in the entire IT landscape of an organization available at the touch of a button.

According to Ralf Stadler, Director Business Unit Security Solution Practice & Mobility at Tech Data, "thanks to RadarServices, Tech Data's sales partners are now in a position to offer their customers systems for risk detection, risk analysis and security analyses of internal and external IT systems. The clear benefit for them lies in the mature and immediately available 'Out-of-the-Box' SoC solution. They decide - depending on the requirements of their customers - whether they want to offer it with or without management. It is particularly pleasing that, in addition to the Enterprise solution, a solution for medium-sized customers can also be expected this year, so that in future Tech Data's partners will be able to satisfy inquiries from Enterprise to SMB."
