Orange Spain Chooses Bigben for Mobile Accessories

December 13, 2018

French gaming vendor and specialist Bigben has won a tender organised by Orange Spain to exclusively supply all the mobile accessories offered by more than 1,000 shops throughout the Iberian territory. This exclusive agreement is a key element in Bigben's commercial strategy, demonstrating its ability to position itself as a trusted partner with the largest brands and operators in France and abroad.

Orange Spain's choice of Bigben is explained both by the richness and quality of its product catalogue and by the excellence and innovation of its supply model. Indeed, Bigben benefits from a unique know-how in this field thanks to the numerous investments made that have enabled it to design its VMI (Vendor Management Inventory) solution.

Unique on the market, this one will allow each Orange Spain store to be automatically replenished, thus guaranteeing permanent product availability. In addition, a self-service kiosk in the stores will facilitate the omni-channel shopping experience for customers, who will be able to order their accessories from the point of sale in complete autonomy. Launched in 2010 at the initiative of Bigben Connected (Bigben group), the VMI solution is widely used by Bigben customers in France. Currently, nearly 800 points of sale benefit from this key innovation in connected retail.

Michel Bassot, Managing Director of Bigben Connected, commented: "we are proud to announce this structuring agreement which allows us to strengthen our international market share and build a quality relationship with the teams of Orange Spain and Orange Group. This new market increases our presence on the international scene and contributes to the development of our activities outside France. By leveraging the excellence of our supply chain and IT tools, Orange Spain will be able to boost its accessory sales and offer its customers ever more services and quality, whether at points of sale or through its online sales channels."
