Broadliner Exertis has announced a distribution agreement with Kyocera, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, to provide resellers and retailers with their range of transactional print hardware, accessories, warranties and document management apps.

We are pleased to add Kyocera to our portfolio. It provides our resellers with an excellent range of products that are renowned for their quality, reliability and low total cost of ownership. Their document management solutions bring innovation and increased productivity to SMB and enterprise office environments by automating the workflow and capturing documents efficiently and securely”, said Alistair Coyne, general manager print at Exertis. “With our dedicated print team and value-added services, we look forward to growing the Kyocera opportunity with our extensive reseller network.

Exertis will offer a wide range of Kyocera transactional print hardware including colour, mono, A4 and A3 printer and multifunctional devices. Their printers and MFPs are suitable for the needs of small workgroups or large departments providing flexible solutions that are eco-friendly, easy to use, and with optional upgrades. Exertis has supplied genuine Kyocera consumables since 2004 through its specialist supplies division.

When choosing a new distribution partner, it was important for us to find one that would support our ambitious growth targets and expand our reach, whilst also delivering real value to our reseller customers”, said Peter Lunn, sales director (Indirect) for Kyocera. Moya Kelleher, head of IT channel sales for Kyocera added: “having maintained our distribution structure for the past ten years this certainly isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly. The opportunity to reach an extensive community of Exertis partners to either introduce or re-introduce Kyocera to them is hugely appealing, and we look forward to a successful partnership.

Kyocera and Exertis will be providing reseller training and promotions with rebates and MDF for managed accounts. Sales of printer hardware through distribution in Western Europe has been showing fairly positive trends in most categories in 2018 with a double-digit growth in the UK for the first part of Q4 (Oct/Nov), according to ext, the IT market intelligence company.
