Russian software specialist Axoft and Imperva have signed a distribution agreement. The agreement allows Axoft to strengthen its information security business, as Imperva offers products for the protection of web applications, database management systems (DBMS) and file servers. The contract covers exclusively Russia, even if Axoft is present in other countries.
The partnership with Imperva fits well with Axoft's strategy : the distributor's security portfolio consists of different product categories: it also has certified domestic solutions that are suitable for government agencies and law enforcement agencies, and products of world leaders like Gartner that solve problems of medium and large commercial organisations. In total, Axoft offers more than 1,100 information security solutions and services: SIEM, UTM, NGFW, End-Point Security, Anti-ATP, SOC, and others.
Axoft, in cooperation with Imperva, will focus on promoting three major solutions: Imperva Web Application Firewall, which provides security for web applications; Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), which prevents unauthorised activity in real time; and DDoS Protection, which protects websites from planned DDOS-attacks.
"We are delighted to have started working with Imperva. Solutions of this manufacturer have proved themselves well abroad and, we are sure, will be in demand among Russian users as well. The immediate plans of Axoft and Imperva are to provide partners and their customers with a high level of service: from the beginning of 2019 we will carry out presales, pilot projects, implement systems, train users, provide demonstration equipment and technical support. Thus, we plan to build a partner ecosystem with competencies and expand the vendor's presence in Russia", says Vladislav Fefelov, head of the Axoft information security product promotion team.
