British distribution specialist QBS Technology Group has acquired the entire share capital of Laknova, a Lithuania-based enterprise software distributor active throughout the Baltic region, where it is the 5th largest dedicated software distributor.
“We are pleased to extend the QBS footprint into another geography. This acquisition augments our software delivery capabilities and gives our partners expert access to a fast growing and exciting region”, says Dave Stevinson, CEO. “We were impressed with the Laknova management team, ambitions and services capability.”
“Being part of the QBS group boosts our capabilities significantly and gives our resellers direct access to the QBS software platform. We are all optimistic about the transaction”, adds Leonid Khoroshko, Laknova's CEO.
Laknova will be rebranded to QBS and the systems will be integrated over the next 12-18 months.
QBS also announced the formation of an Irish subsidiary company and the opening of an office in Cork, Ireland.
