Pulse Secure, a provider of software-defined secure access solutions, has announced a new partnership with security VAD StarLink. As a result of the new relationship, StarLink will distribute Pulse Secure solutions across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa regions, bringing significant reach and efficiency to Pulse Secure’s Access Now Partner Programme. StarLink will distribute the complete portfolio of Pulse Secure solutions, including virtual private network, software defined perimeter, network access control and application delivery controllers, through its offices in Bahrain, Egypt, Kenya, Kuwait, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
StarLink is recognised as a Trusted Cyber and Cloud Advisor in the META region that distributes over 40 plus market-leading vendors to over 2,200 enterprise and government customers that use one or more of StarLink’s best-of-breed technologies, sold through its channel network of over 1,100 partners.
“With every employee utilising two or three devices on average in addition to IoT devices, organisations are exposed to higher security risks. Therefore, it is critical to have comprehensive software-driven secure access solutions for remote and on-prem users as well as devices and services, to stay secure and connected”, said Mr Nidal Othman, Co-Founder and Managing Director, StarLink. “Pulse Secure’s secure access solutions will improve security intelligence by offering more visibility, protection and productivity for organisations adopting a Zero Trust model and we look forward to providing maximum support to improve its market share in these regions.”
Secure access is being redefined by mobility, BYOD, IoT and multi-cloud services. As applications and resources continue to be distributed across data centre and cloud, attack surfaces have expanded, increasing the risk of cybersecurity breaches. Pulse delivers end-to-end Zero Trust visibility, protection and availability for hybrid IT environments. The Pulse solution portfolio enables simple, efficient access to enterprise applications and resources no matter where they reside – without compromising security or productivity. The Pulse Secure Access Suite offers:
simple, integrated user experience from the device of choice
extensive user and device authentication and authorisation leveraging multi-factor authentication and agent and agentless client
zero-trust unified policy, compliance and threat response
single-pane-of-glass secure access management, visibility and audit across on-premises and cloud
flexible, scalable and reliable deployment
integrated suites providing broad use case coverage, operational efficiency and reduce total cost of ownership
“StarLink has established itself as a leading value-added distributor across multiple regions that offers a range of VAD capabilities which will help extend Pulse Secure’s reach on-the-ground with comprehensive and expert sales, pre-sales and professional services teams”, said Abdul Rehman Tariq, Regional Sales Manager – MEA, for Pulse Secure. “We look forward to working closely with StarLink in extending our market leadership within secure access and helping our channel partners to transition into emerging areas such as Zero Trust.”
